Mic Mayo burger

Martin the Alien has arrived on Earth and he wants to know how to make a Healthy Hamburger. Here is a procedure, using the correct structure and language, to instruct Martin on how to make my favourite healthy hamburger.

Mic Mayo Burger

Ingredients/Materials:

lettuce

mayo

bun

patty

Method:

1. Cut your two buns in half
2. Slowly put the patty in the fryer to cook.
3. Flip the patty onto the bun.
4. Squeeze the mayo on the patty.
5. Place the lettuce on the mayo.   
6. Carefully place the top bun on lettuce.   

Eat it.

We went to the Life Education bus and learnt about food. We found out which foods we should eat lots, which foods we should eat some and which foods we should only eat a little.

These foods are good for you because they are healthy.

They come from the ground

for you.

Food that is made by mixing ingredients together are not good for you. You should only eat a little.

Lollies and lollipops are bad things because they have lots of sugar.

We have been learning how to animate. Here is my animation of me Science Experiment called Balloon Car.

Balloon Car

My group did the Balloon Car for the Science Fair. We had to modify our original design as the cup kept breaking. We turned it into more of a hot air balloon design and it flied really well.

I have been learning how to use adverbs as sentence starters to make my writing more interesting.

The leaves flutter down like butterflies.

I like autumn  because there are so

many wonderful  leaves.

Leaves glide in the wind like a plane in the sky.

Marshmallows

One night there was a  boy named Jake camping in the woods. He was roasting his marshmallows over the fire when he he heard something behind him. When he turned around he saw a crocodile. He was very quiet so the small boy gave the crocodile a marshmallow. He only had three marshmallows left. As the boy gave him the last marshmallow he snatched it from his hand.  When he ran out of marshmallows the crocodile got really mad. He started  chasing  the small boy around camp site. Then the boy had an idea. He found his pillow that looked like a marshmallow and gave it to the crocodile. The crocodile was so happy. Then the boy ran away screaming, help!!!!!!!

When the crocodile went to roast his marshmallow it popped. He got really sad. He  sat and looked  at  the  moon.  They both lived happily ever after.

My First Narrative

Pirate Island

Once we were all living in huts on a sandy Island. One morning we all woke up and saw this ship coming towards us firing cannons.  It was pirates. They jumped off the ship and they charged towards us with their guns and swords. We ran and ran, hiding amongst the trees, as we went. Finally we lost them so we started collecting wood. We built a raft and sailed away just as they made their way to the shore. They began firing at us but we made it safely to another island and lived happily ever after.

lindsay Rally car Co/driver

Lindsay came to speak to us. She has been involved in rally car driving for 40  years  ago.  Lindsay  was  a driver before she became a co-driver.

They need to be safe before they start the race. It is Lindsay's job to give the driver instructions of where to go.

The race gear is made our of  natural fibres so they won't get burnt if their car catches fire.

Yahoo! we were Walking to Room 2 . We sat  down and listen to the speeches. then the  countdown began.  10 9 8 7 6  5 4 3 2 1! we ripped the boxes open. There was our shiny  chromebook. We were all so excited. Then  we had a yummy morning tea .   

After that We came back to the class and logged in. I  had  a  fun  day.
