Adverbs

I have been learning how to use adverbs as sentence starters to make my writing more interesting.
Quickly I ran to save the goal.

 







Quietly the dog barked at the cat up the tree.

    Hi Mathew, I don't think I've ever heard a dog bark quietly at a cat. How do adverbs work to make your story more interesting?
