What Am I ?

I live mostly all over the world. I am not endangered like some animals. I am an animal that eats meat. I can grow as long as 34 inches.

I have powerful ears,  strong legs and can have a litter of up to  nine babies.     

I live in a kennel in your backyard, or I lie on your couch. I eat food out of your hand, or from my food bowl. Or, I live in the wild and hunt my own food.

I can run around on a farm chasing sheep. I could lie on your couch like a lion. I run like a cheetah, I usually sleep at night and wake up really early in the morning.
